Harald Haraldsson

A visual artist and film director hailing from Reykjavik, Iceland, Harald has spent his adult years migrating from one metropolis to another including Tokyo, London, Shanghai, finally settling down in New York, leaving a diverse trail of projects that regularly end up at the center of exhibitions and award ceremonies all over the world. Seamlessly fusing filmmaking with the worlds of media art and technology, Harald has directed spots for clients like Samsung and Spotify. His work has been featured on The Verge, CNET, designboom, The Creators Project, Dezeen, Co.Design, The Next Web and many other places. He is the founder of the creative technology studio Wonwei and a member of New Museum's art & technology incubator NEW INC. A mean badminton player and soccer fanatic, he also has a soft spot for almond croissants.
